GoGo Getaway Class Selection Process
The
details of the classes will be emailed to you in PDF format a few weeks before the retreat and posted on the dedicated Facebook Group too. You will
be asked to email your 1st choice for some sessions, by a specified date. Our new format allows everyone to have their first choice. Within the Class Details document you will be given details of the photo sizes used on the example layouts, any additional items you will need for that class and the Arrow Rating will be specified.
GoGo Arrow Rating
Classes are rated according to how much cutting and intricate work is involved. You will find the GoGo Arrow Rating on the class PDFs which will be emailed to you in advance of the retreat.
1 GoGo arrow = minimum amount of cutting and intricate work
2 GoGo arrows = moderate amount of cutting and intricate work
3 GoGo arrows = extensive amount of cutting and intricate work
Be Inspired
Each Design Team member sets a challenge for you to take inspiration from. Use your time in between classes to create extra layouts using the challenges to inspire you. Display your layouts on the wall by the end of the weekend for the chance of winning a prize. There is a prize for each challenge so get as many done as possible to increase your chances of winning! Challenges are released one week in advance of the Retreat.

The following items are recommended as being part of your 'Basic Tool Kit' and should be brought along to the Retreat:
Cutting tools: scissors, trimmer and craft knife & cutting mat
Writing/painting tools: journaling pens, pencil, eraser and paintbrushes
Adhesives: wet glue, strong wet glue (such as Glossy Accents), double sided tape, strong red-line double sided tape, regular sellotape or Scotch tape and foam pads
Inks & Mediums - watercolour paints, basic colour ink pads e.g. grey/black and other colours if desired, ink applicator tool and acrylic blocks for stamps
General Tools: ruler, stapler, Crop-a-dile, sewing needles, scoring tool, bone folder, tweezers, paper piercing tool & mat, a pair of compasses, wet wipes and water spray bottle
